SALES AND SERVICE MANAGER

Job Description

The Sales and Service Manager handles all communication with the client and develops estimates and proposals for the work required. He or she must have first-hand knowledge of all operations for their division. Manager responsibilities include hiring and training personnel, crew scheduling, work supervision, and crew evaluation. The manager must have a working knowledge of all equipment and work assigned to the crews. The Sales and Service Manager provides the crew leader with directions to the job site, a detailed description of the work to be performed, and the estimated production hours for each job. The manager is also responsible for follow-up with the customer and all paperwork related to the job.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the field
  • Prior management experience
  • Appropriate credentials for division such as:
    • ISA certified arborist
    • Safety training credentials
    • ISA training certifications
    • Certified professional horticulturalist
    • Landscape Industry certified manager/li>
    • CPR/First Aid training
  • Good organizational skills
  • Computer skills and technology skills, including proficiency in MS Office
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to train personnel in the field
  • CDL license
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
