CREW FOREMAN

Job Description

A crew foreman directs and trains a crew, and is responsible for all activities related to performance of a job. Crew foreman status can be associated with any of the intermediate to advanced positions in these divisions:

• Tree Care
• Landscape Maintenance
• Landscape Install
• Plant Health Care
• Stump Crew

Required Skills

• All skills required for assigned job position
• Good communication skills
• Ability to communicate with clients and crew in a positive and professional manner
• Ability to provide pricing for add on jobs
• Sets high standards for crew performance
• Trains and develops crew members
• Ability to accurately fill out daily paperwork
• Understands all company and industry safety policies
• Ability to follow directions (written and oral)
• Familiar with MTTC reporting procedures for accidents/incidents and near misses
• Keeps their crew truck and equipment in good repair, clean and ready for service, and reports all equipment issues to mechanic
• Other skills and knowledge specific to area of employment
